Animusic Weekend: Respect

Alternating new releases and classics, today our appointment with music and animation, Animusic, takes us back to the 1960s to listen to Respect by Aretha Franklin.

Although the single Respect became a huge hit in 1967, performed by Aretha Franklin, the original was written in 1965 by American singer Otis Redding.

The official music video for the song was released in 2014 and won a contest to create a video for the song. It was directed by Brendan Huza via Genero.tv.
