New teaser for The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol

After its presentations at the Cannes and Annecy Film Festivals, the new feature film by Sylvain Chomet is shown with a new teaser trailer that we offer you below.

The feature film will be a biopic on the life of a leading figure in mid-20th century art: Marcel Pagnol, a writer and filmmaker whose books have sold more than 150 million copies worldwide. The film will tell his life story through a dialogue between his adult self and his childhood self.

Marcel et Monsieur Pagnol, internationally The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol, marks the return of Sylvain Chomet as the writer and director of an animated film after The Triplets of Belleville (2003) and The Illusionist (2010). A film produced by What The Prod, Onyx Films, Align, ON Animation Studios and Walking The Dog and featuring music by Italian composer Stefano Bollani.

Expected in French theaters from October 15, it will soon be released worldwide by Sony Pictures Classic.
