The Legendaries - Guillaume Ivernel's return to directing

The first teaser for the French feature film "Legendaires" has been released. Find all the info and the video below.

The heroes of Alysia, Danaël, Jadina, Gryf, Shimy and Razzia, once great warriors, find themselves transformed into 10-year-old children after accidentally breaking the stone of Jovénia while fighting the sorcerer Darkhell. This curse has frozen humanity and forced the Legendaries into hiding, blamed and discredited. However, Darkhell's return, with a plan to harness the magical Gamera tree and enslave the world, prompts the old friends to reunite. In this epic new quest, they reforge their friendship, learn to forgive each other and overcome their fears to become the Legendaries once again.

Les Légendaires, this is the original title, is the new film directed by Guillaume Ivernel (Dragon Hunter - 2008), written by Antoine Schoumsky and Hélène Grémillon, with the participation of Patrick Sobral, author of the original comic on which the film is based, and music by Cécile Corbel (Studio Ghibli's Arrietty).

Produced and distributed by Pan Européenne, the adventure film for young audiences will hit French screens on January 28, 2026.
