First promo for the sci-fi fantasy anime Arcanadea

The staff of the TV anime Arcanadea presents a promo, a super teaser that shows the first animations. Find info and video below.

Arcanadea by Kotobukiya, the series of plastic models launched in 2021 which to date has more than 500,000 units sold, after the short videos inspired by the four-panel manga franchise, returns with a television anime in which fans find the voice actress Kaede Hondo, the voice of the character Lumitea in the shorts mentioned above.

The stories of the sci-fi fantasy franchise are set in the near future, where the world experienced rapid technological development thanks to a new energy called "Arcana Particles" that was discovered by Eden Industries. The new technology includes the largest virtual space server called Eden. The VRMMO "ARCANADEA" is a game people can play within the Eden server, and features a fantasy world. After an explosion occurred at Eden Industries one night during the maintenance of Eden, the world changed, including abnormal weather, communication issues, strange disappearances, and people gaining increased physical abilities.

With character designs by artist Necomi and production and planning by Shohei Chiba (Kotobukiya), the episodes will air on TV Asahi and its affiliates.
