Heroes and magical beasts in the anime Clevatess

A new fantasy anime will debut in less than a month on Japan small screen and on Crunchyroll. It's titled Clevatess and you can find the info and trailer below.

Clevatess (orig. Clevatess -Maju no O to Akago to Shikabane no Yusha-), is the manga by the author Yuji Iwahara, already author of King of Thorn, which will be adapted into a television anime produced by the studios Lay-duce.

The story begins with Alicia - who has aspired to be a brave hero since she was little - after she has been chosen by the king to be one of 13 heroes for a quest. Wielding legendary swords, the heroes set out to subjugate the lord of magical beasts, Clevatess. However, these very heroes might bring about the realm's deadliest catastrophe that would wipe out all humanity. The world's last remaining hope lies in a baby entrusted to the lord of magical beasts.

The anime is directed by Kiyotaka Taguchi, composed by Keigo Koyanagi, with characters designed by Soichiro Sako, and music composed by Nobuaki Nobusawa.

The premiere is scheduled for July 2 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and numerous other channels and streaming platforms. The first episode will also be an hour long.
