Two films distributed inside a video game - The Two Embers

An interesting and innovative project that has been in the works for at least three years. These are two feature films that will be distributed within the videogame in which they are set. Below we show you the first trailer.

Sky: Children of the Light is an indie open world social adventure video game developed and published by Californian Thatgamecompany since 2019.

In Sky, players explore a magical world fallen into ruin, searching for fallen stars and ancestor spirits to return to the sky, and unravel the mysteries hidden in the seven kingdoms.

The atmospheres of this game inspired The Two Embers, animated internally by the division named "Light Realm Studio", a feature film divided into two parts that will be released inside the game, therefore mainly aimed at players.

As the first trailer shows us, it will be a feature film that will not use dialogue, therefore does not require dubbing, of which the first, The Two Embers - Part 1, will be released on July 21.
