Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse is David Prod.'s first original series
The studios that have animated anime series such as Fire Force, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Cell’s at Work!, and the latest reboot of Urusei Yatsura are presenting their first original series.
Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse tells the story of Narihira Takeru, a delinquent who often thinks about Tsukimiya, the girl who appears in his dreams. After an unexpected accident, Takeru finds himself in a parallel universe, and the world that Tsukimiya lives in. When Takeru and Tsukimiya are slain by a monster, he awakens again and realizes he has leapt through time. Now, Takeru must train with Abe Seimei to fight for Tsukimiya’s life!
The series is directed by Hideya Takahashi (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind, Urusei Yatsura), who also wrote the original concept. The story is written by Fujiko Sakuno and composed by Hayashi Mori (Cells at Work! Code Black, Sand Land: The Series). The character designs are created by Kazuaki Morita (Classroom of the Elite, Assassination Classroom) and the music composed by Masahiro Tokuda (You Are Ms. Servant, One Piece Fan Letter).
The broadcast is scheduled for June 2 in Japan and simultaneously (outside Asia) on the Crunchyroll platform, with a new episode every week.
