The anime Detectives These Days Are Crazy! debuts in July

The debut of the new anime Detectives These Days Are Crazy! based on the manga of the same name is expected this summer. Info and promo below.

Masakuni Igarashi's manga titled Mattaku Saikin no Tantei Tokitara (Detectives These Days Are Crazy!) and published since 2016 becomes an anime made by the studios Liden Films.

Synopsis: Behold, a great detective who thrills the world solving impossible cases in no time! His name? Keiichiro Nagumo. ...But all of that was over a decade ago. Now he's just your typical middle-aged dude. Nagumo is behind the times to the point that he doesn't even know what a smartphone is. But out of the blue, he is confronted by a high school girl named Mashiro who shows up wanting to be his assistant. Witness the miracles a gender-gap detective duo can make!

The director is Rion Kujo (Love Doll, Samurai Harem, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero), the script overseeing is entrusted to Rintaro Ikeda (The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement, Insomniacs After School), the character designs and animation direction to Isoroku Koga and the music composition to Tomoki Kikuya.
