Ready to travel again Around the World in 80 Days

A new all-European production is also appearing in theaters. Following the first official trailer of the comedy Around the World.

Known internationally under the title Around the World and at home with Le Tour du Monde en 80 Jours, it is an animal comedy produced by the French StudioCanal, France 3 Cinema and Cottonwood Media and the Belgians of Umedia, with animations produced by the Parisian studios Circus and the Brussels studios MacGuff Belgium.

Directed by Samuel Tourneux, making his feature film directorial debut, and written by Gerry Swallow (Ice Age 2, Ratchet & Clank ), the story is obviously inspired by the Jules Verne classic.

The protagonists of the film are Phileass Frogg and Passepartout, respectively a frog and a monkey who bet with the villagers that they will be able to travel around the world in 80 days. Once the bet is complete, the two identify a new country and a new land that they did not know and so they propose a new bet including the new country to be discovered, in 70 days.

Expected in theaters across Europe this summer and in France on 21 July, here the official trailer:
