Adult Swim orders 70 new Rick and Morty episodes

Fans of the Adult Swim series can rejoice for the maxi-renewal that the Rick and Morty animated series received yesterday.

Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have announced a new agreement extending the collaboration with the adult-oriented nighttime programming block Adult Swim.

Harmon himself reports on his Instagram profile while, in the shower, the two authors joking on the "having to go back to work!" [link to the video]

So the fans can rejoice for the 70 new episodes of the critically acclaimed, sociopathic adventures of genius scientist Rick Sanchez and his hapless grandson Morty into the most insanely dangerous corners of the universe.

The animated series is the #1 of the block dedicated to animation for adults that has garnered a lot of support among "young adults" both on traditional media as well as on videogames, digital contents and much more.
