Sweetness and Death Metal - Aggretsuko on Netflix

The streaming platform Netflix presents Aggretsuko, the well know character of the red panda produced by Japanese Sanrio. Below the trailer.

The original name is Aguresshibu Retsuko, a character born from the mind of the designer Yeti and produced by the brand known all over the world for Hello Kitty. An animated series of 10 episodes of 15 minutes made with flash-style animations with heavily edged elements, a work by Fanworks studio.

Main character is Retsuko, a downtrodden office worker who also happens to be a red panda. During the day, she struggles under daily pressure and an overbearing boss. But at night, the shy panda heads to karaoke to sing death metal. Because internal strength comes from the strangest places.

The animation series will be available on Netflix in all the country served by the service in a few days, from April 20.
