Born in 1973 in Hillsboro, suburbs of Portland, Oregon. He is an American animator and director.
Son of Penelope "Penny" and Phil Knight, the founder and president of the well-known sports brand Nike, he studied as an animator and employed within the well known Will Vinton Studios. He worked as a stop-motion animator for the multi-award winning The PJs series and also for Gary & Mike. Also working on numerous TV commercials and promos, including a campaign for the NFL league.
To believe in this work was also the father who, taking over the Will Vinton in 2005, gives life to the Laika studios in which Travis plays as animator, animations supervisor and then president, in 2009, until the directorial debut in 2016.
