Animusic, our weekend trip between music and animations today takes us to Scotland to listen to the song Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand.

The multi-award-winning rock band from Glasgow, known throughout the world, has produced around ten studio, live and collection albums.

Take Me Out is among the band's best-known singles, taken from their first album in 2004. The video clip is directed by Jonas Odell and pays homage to the works of the brilliant Terry Gilliam for Monty Python.
