An experimental film that mixes different production techniques and live-action footage will arrive on Netflix in March. Below a teaser for Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation.
A mysterious story told with vivid visuals that combine live-action, 3D computer graphics and 2D animation. High school student Aki finds herself in a strange world created by an enigmatic entity called "Hitotsume-sama". Here she wanders in search of Taki, a person dear to her who one day vanished into thin air before her eyes. Following Taki's voice, she reaches the Shibuya neighborhood in a fictional version that is neither dream nor reality. And what does she find here?

Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation is a musical film that will feature new songs by Japanese singer-songwriter Eve (Jujutsu Kaisen, Josee the Tiger and the Fish) and the animations produced by Studio Khara.

At the head of the production we find Genki Kawamura (Your Name, Weathering With You, Her Blue Sky), and director of the film Nobutaka Yoda, director of several Eve music videos. The individual songs in the film instead are entrusted to numerous artists including Hibiki Yoshizaki, Waboku, kahki and Yuichiro Saeki.

Also showing in theaters in Japan, the film will arrive on the Netflix streaming platform around the world Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
