The new adventure from Nintendo and Illumination featuring characters from the Super Mario video game franchise will hit theaters in April. Watch the new trailer featuring the legendary dragon below.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. and the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide in 2023.

Produced by Christopher Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo, the film features the returning cast, with Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic directing, Matthew Fogel writing, and Brian Tyler composing the score.

The cast also includes Chris Prat (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Charlie Day (Luigi), Jack Black (Bowser), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), and Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek), with new additions including Brie Larson (Rosalina) and Benny Safdie (Bowser Jr.).
