The anime Demon Slayer - the Movie: Mugen Train has premiered in Japanese theaters just three weeks ago and has already won audiences, critics and records.
The film based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge has been firmly in the top position on the Japanese box office since its premiere three weeks ago. This weekend it collected 2 and a half billion yen (about 20 million euros).

In total in three weeks, more than 11 million tickets sold for a total of about 128.4 million euros, numbers that place him in tenth place in the ranking of the best box office ever in Japanese theaters, even surpassing James Cameron's Avatar (126.6 million euros).

The story of the film takes us back to the beginning of the last century and follows the story of Tanjiro and his fellow demon hunters. After rehabilitating and learning new techniques, he will be called to investigate a train from which more than forty people have mysteriously disappeared due to a demon.
