For lovers of science fiction and stories made in Japan, the title Ghost in the Shell and the name of its author Masamune Shirow are among the best known. A universe that now expands further with the arrival of the new anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.

The new series, made entirely with CG animations by Production IG and Sola Digital Arts, has two exceptional directors at the head of the project: Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Apple Seed Alpha). Each director will direct a season that will count 12 episodes, with, therefore, already two seasons produced.

Led by full-body cyborg Motoko Kusanagi, Public Security Section 9 once again gets ready to face off against cybercrime.

The original anime series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 will be available April 23, 2020 only on Netflix.
