Two exclusive clips for Bird Karma - DreamWorks short film

Read...
The animation studios DreamWorks Animation have recently started working on some animated short films, as the Pixar colleges had been doing for some time. Below two exclusive clips for Bird Karma.
The animated short film is written and directed by William Salazar, long-time DreamWorks Animation artist, premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June.

The short is 100% handmade and hand painted. It is all hand-drawn traditional animation, with about 60% made by Salazar himself. He started working on more than 20 years ago: "It took me six months to do the first minute and a half of animation, 23 years ago in 1995." says the author. "I was in London at the time, working in Amblimation studios. Then when I came from England to the USA I was very busy working on all DreamWorks feature films as a 2D animator, and then as a CG animator."

With a bird and a fish as main characters, the short film makes its debut in Japan with the copy of the feature movie The Boss Baby.
