It was announced an animated movie on Violet Evergarden, the same of the well know light novel and anime produced by Kyoto Animation and distributed by Netflix.
Vaioretto Evāgāden, the japanese original title, is a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase published between 2015 and 2016, that becomes an anime in 2018 thanks to Kyoto Animation.

The series is one of the most interesting anime production of the year, with beautiful animations and a good story.

Main character of the story is Violet, a self-remembering doll, an artificial human who has lived all his life in the army. Originally, dolls like her were created by a brilliant scientist to help his blind wife write her novels, but later some of them began to be used for war purposes. At the end of the conflict, Violet is adopted by the Evergarden family and taken first as a postman and then as a ghostwriter to write texts for those who can not read and write, but its personal purpose is to understand the meaning of the last words spoken by its commander before to die: I love you.

The 13 episodes anime is available on Netflix, with an extra 14th episode, an OAV (Original Anime Video), wich will be available on July 4.

Now the announce of the production of an animated movie is scheduled for release in Japanese theaters on Jenuary 2020.
