On December 5, 1901, Walter Elias Disney, better known as Walt, was born in Chicago, Illinois.
He was an animator and author of American comics, but also producer, director, screenwriter, dubber and animator of animated cinema. Walt Disney has also founded Disneyland, the first and most famous of the world's theme parks.
A great storyteller, he is above all one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century in the field of entertainment. With his collaborators he has created many of the most famous cartoon characters in the world; one of these, Mickey Mouse, is, according to many, his alter ego.
